Jordanian House Speaker Explores Historic Thang Long Imperial Citadel

Hanoi: Within the framework of his official visit to Vietnam, Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives Mazen Turki El Qadi and a high-level delegation on February 4 afternoon visited the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in Hanoi. Built by successive dynasties over many historical periods, the complex is one of Vietnam's most important architectural and cultural relics.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 2010, stands as a powerful symbol of Dai Viet's history and culture across centuries. It served as the political centre under the Ly, Tran, Early Le, Mac, and Later Le Dynasties, showcasing Vietnam's rich historical legacy.
