Hanoi:Lawmakers discussed amendments to the Electricity Law during the first conference of full-time National Assembly deputies on September 28.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the deputies emphasized the need for a more transparent electricity pricing mechanism. They also called for tighter cost control, fairer risk allocation, and stronger consumer protection.

These discussions are part of the draft law aimed at amending and supplementing several articles of the existing Electricity Law.
