Hanoi:General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam has urged comprehensive legal reforms to improve the prevention and settlement of civil and administrative disputes and the enforcement of judgments.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during a working session with the Party Central Committee's Commission for Internal Affairs and relevant agencies in Hanoi, To Lam emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to refine existing laws. He called on Party committees, organizations, and their leaders to maintain vigilant oversight to identify and address prolonged backlogs and legal loopholes that could lead to violations and misconduct.

The session, held on September 28, focused on ensuring that legal frameworks are robust and effective in managing disputes and enforcing judgments, highlighting the importance of proactive measures in legal governance.
