Hanoi:National Assembly President Tran Thanh Man highlighted the need for legislative work to prioritize policy quality over the sheer number of legal provisions.

According to Vietnam News Agency, President Man made these remarks on September 28 while presiding over the first conference of full-time deputies of the 16th-tenure National Assembly. The conference addressed 17 significant draft laws anticipated to be presented to the legislature in its upcoming second session.

President Man emphasized that laws should be crafted to solve practical issues, remove obstacles, and foster conditions conducive to development.
