Hanoi: A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, the State President, the National Assembly (NA), the Government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee paid floral tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on January 23, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2025. Then, the delegation also laid a wreath and offered incense in tribute to fallen combatants at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on the capital city’s Bac Son street.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this annual tribute is a significant event that underscores the deep respect and gratitude of the Vietnamese people for their late leader and the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The ceremony is a reminder of the enduring legacy of President Ho Chi Minh and the values he stood for, as well as the sacrifices made by countless individuals for the country’s independence and prosperity.
