Hanoi: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man held a meeting with Timor-Leste Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmo on June 9 afternoon, as part of the PM's official visit to Vietnam and attendance at the third ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation between Vietnam and Timor-Leste. Both leaders discussed key areas of mutual interest and the potential for collaborative projects to enhance ties between the two countries. The discussions also emphasized the significance of the ASEAN Future Forum as a platform for regional dialogue and cooperation.
