Hanoi: Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man met with Cambodian Senate President and President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) Samdech Techo Hun Sen in Hanoi on September 1. The Cambodian leader is leading a delegation to Vietnam to participate in the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, which falls on August 19, and the National Day on September 2.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting underscores the strong relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia. The visit by the Cambodian delegation is seen as a reaffirmation of bilateral ties and mutual respect between the two nations.
