Hanoi: Vice Chairman of the National Assembly (NA) Tran Quang Phuong hosted a reception in Hanoi on March 3 for the Swedish Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs, led by Chairman Mr. Aron Emilsson, who is on a working visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen the diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Sweden, focusing on enhancing cooperation in various fields. During the reception, Tran Quang Phuong expressed his appreciation for the longstanding friendship between the two countries and emphasized the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration.

Mr. Aron Emilsson, leading the Swedish delegation, highlighted the shared values and interests of both nations. He also conveyed Sweden’s commitment to supporting Vietnam in multiple sectors, including trade, education, and sustainable development.
