Tourists flock to pay homage to the statue of Luang Pho To and ask for good fortune from the Kumarn Thep Rit, which is over 150 years old, at Wat Loh Suthawat, Ang Thong Province, the only one in Thailand.

Wat Loh Sutthawat is another important temple in Ang Thong. It is located in the heart of Ang Thong Market and is a temple with a long history. According to history, it was built around the year 1867 during the reign of King Rama IV. At this temple, there is an important thing that is highly respected by the people of Ang Thong and is the only one in Thailand, which is the bronze statue of Luang Pho To in the three-eyed watchman posture, enshrined in the temple’s chapel. Every day, people from all directions travel to pay homage and ask for blessings in large numbers.

In addition to the statue of Luang Pho To, the three-eyed guard posture, which is the only one in Thailand, here there is also a statue of Kumarn Theppharit, a sacred pair of Wat Loh Suthawat, cast in bronze, beautifully decorated in an art
form, approximately 150 years old, something that has been with Wat Loh Suthawat since its construction, which the villagers highly respect for its fortune.

Mrs. Phandimon Intharathu, an official at the temple, said that tourists who come to pay homage to Luang Pho To, the Three-Eyed Buddha, must come to ask for good fortune by scooping eggs from a jar in front of the Kumar Thepparit statue to use in gambling. Some people light incense sticks to ask for good fortune. When their wishes come true, they will return to make merit by building monks’ quarters and a temple with the temple, as well as bring toys and clothing to offer to the Kumar Thepparit statue, until it is full.

Wat Loh Suthawat is located at the end of Ang Thong Market, Talat Luang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Ang Thong Province. If anyone travels to Ang Thong, they must not miss traveling to pay homage to the sacred objects, including Luang Pho To, the three-eyed guard posture, and the statue of Kumarn Thep Rit, the only one in Thailand, to b
