Party and State Leaders Commemorate War Martyrs in Hanoi

Hanoi: Party, State leaders and former Party, State leaders, along with leaders from the Vietnam Fatherland Front, various ministries, central agencies, and Hanoi city, gathered to pay tribute to martyrs. They laid wreaths at Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son Street on the morning of July 24. This tribute marked the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, observed annually on July 27 since 1947.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ceremony was a solemn occasion to honor the sacrifices made by those who fought for the country’s independence and freedom. The leaders’ presence underscored the nation’s gratitude and commitment to remembering the valor and dedication of the martyrs who laid down their lives for Vietnam.
