Hanoi: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on June 23 chaired a national teleconference to review the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement in the first half of 2025 and conclude the peak combat campaign.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the teleconference was convened to assess the progress and challenges faced in combating illegal trade activities and to strategize future actions. The meeting highlighted the government’s commitment to intensifying efforts in curbing these illicit practices and safeguarding intellectual property rights.
Participants in the teleconference included key government officials, representatives from law enforcement agencies, and stakeholders from various sectors affected by counterfeit goods and trade fraud. Discussions centered on evaluating the effectiveness of current measures and identifying areas for improvement to enhance the national campaign against these illegal activities.
