Hanoi: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has called for immediate action to address the shortage of textbooks for the 2026-2027 academic year, emphasizing that all students must have access to the necessary learning materials.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister made these remarks during a meeting in Hanoi focused on the supply of textbooks, reviewing general education curricula and textbooks, and preparing for a thematic supervision delegation. This delegation will oversee the implementation of Politburo Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW, which aims to make breakthroughs in the development of education and training.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of ensuring no student is without the textbooks required for their education, highlighting this as a critical area needing attention and action.
