Public Security Minister Inspects Election Preparations in Hue

Hue: A working delegation of the National Election Council led by General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, conducted supervision and inspection of preparations for the elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 tenure in the central city of Hue on February 2.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit by General Luong Tam Quang and the delegation aimed to ensure that all necessary arrangements and protocols are in place for the upcoming elections. The delegation focused on assessing the readiness of both logistical and security measures to facilitate a smooth electoral process.

The inspection covered various aspects of the election preparations, including the setup of polling stations, the training of election staff, and the implementation of measures to maintain order and security during the election period.
