Da nang: The Ministry of Public Security conducted a ceremony on January 9 in Thuong Duc commune, Da Nang city, to conclude the 'Quang Trung Campaign.' This campaign focused on rapidly constructing and repairing homes for families whose residences were destroyed or severely damaged by natural disasters across the central and Central Highlands regions.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the initiative saw the involvement of over 11,000 policemen from nine provinces in the central and Central Highlands areas. Thousands of grassroots security personnel were also mobilized, along with 300 mobile police officers and cadets from public security academies, to provide direct assistance to local residents. The campaign successfully resulted in the construction of 419 new houses for families affected by home collapses and the repair of infrastructure in provinces including Ha Tinh, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, and Lam Dong.
