Pyongyang: General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un held a banquet for General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation in Pyongyang on October 9. Party General Secretary To Lam is on a state visit to DPRK and to attend a ceremony celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK) from October 9 -11.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the banquet was organized to strengthen the ties between the two nations and to commemorate the long-standing relationship between the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Communist Party of Vietnam.
