Hanoi:A research project focused on promoting maritime diplomacy in Southeast Asia was launched at a ceremony in Hanoi on September 23.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the project is a collaborative effort between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) and the German foundation Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) in Vietnam. It is supported by the US Department of State through the US Embassy in Hanoi.

The initiative includes three key components: training, dialogue, and research. Over the course of a year, it will implement four groups of activities designed to enhance maritime diplomacy in the region.
