Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong attended a ceremony in Hanoi on March 26 to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Militia and Self-Defence Force. During the event, he highlighted the importance of building a robust, well-structured, high-quality, and politically steadfast militia force.

According to Vietnam News Agency, President Cuong marked the occasion by presenting the Militia and Self-Defence Force with the Ho Chi Minh Order, a prestigious award from the Party and State, in recognition of their contributions. The ceremony underscored the ongoing commitment to enhancing the capabilities and organization of the militia to meet future challenges effectively.
