Hanoi: State President Luong Cuong received Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodr­guez Parrilla, in Hanoi on February 3. Parrilla is visiting Vietnam as a special envoy of the Communist Party and State of Cuba.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting was held to discuss strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and Cuba. Both parties exchanged views on international and regional issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and cooperation between the two nations.
