The Royal Thai Army Aviation Unit dispatched helicopters to deliver supplies to flood victims in Mae Fah Luang District.

The Special Operations Unit of the Army Aviation Center dispatched MI-17 helicopters to deliver supplies to flood victims in areas cut off from the outside, Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province.

Reporters reported that the Disaster Relief Center, 37th Military Circle (Disaster Relief Center, 37th Military Circle) together with the Special Operations Aviation Unit (SOC) carried out a mission to help flood victims in Chiang Rai Province by sending one helicopter (MI-17) to transport food supplies, drinking water, and relief bags to people in the area that was cut off from the outside at Ban Chati, Mae Fah Luang District, Chiang Rai Province, which was severely affected by the flood.

This supply transport operation used rescue baskets to safely deliver supplies to the area. The operation began at 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on September 14, 2024. There were a total of 4 supply flights, including 400 food boxes, 40 packs of drinking water, and 300 survival bags, weighing a total of 1,298 kilograms.

The oper
ation was carried out smoothly and successfully in helping flood victims. The transportation of supplies is part of the relief efforts for those in the severely affected areas.
