Top Leader Calls for Stronger Vietnam War Veterans’ Association at National Congress

Hanoi: Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has called for continued efforts to build the Vietnam War Veterans' Association (VWVA) into a comprehensively strong organization capable of meeting the requirements of the country's new development phase. The top leader made the statement while addressing the opening session of the 8th National Congress of the VWVA in Hanoi on June 17.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Party General Secretary emphasized the importance of strengthening the VWVA to support the nation's growth and development. The association's role in promoting unity and collaboration among veterans was highlighted as a key component in achieving the country's strategic goals.

The congress, attended by numerous delegates, focused on evaluating the association's achievements and setting future objectives. The discussions aimed at enhancing the VWVA's capacity to contribute to national development while addressing the veterans' needs.
