Hanoi: The 7th expanded conference of justice agencies of Vietnamese and Lao border provinces took place in the northern port city of Hai Phong on June 17. The main agenda of the conference was to review the implementation of conclusions from the previous event, address ongoing challenges, and agree on measures to improve legal and judicial cooperation between the border localities and the justice ministries of both countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference served as a platform for both nations to evaluate past efforts and strategize future initiatives to strengthen legal frameworks and judicial processes in border areas. The discussions highlighted the importance of cross-border legal collaboration to address issues such as crime and legal discrepancies in the region. The cooperation aims to ensure smoother legal proceedings and enhance mutual understanding between the justice systems of Vietnam and Laos.
