Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam on August 20 received a delegation from the Philippine National Security Council, led by National Security Adviser Eduardo S.L. Oban Jr., who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties between Vietnam and the Philippines in areas of mutual interest, particularly in national security. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and addressing regional security challenges, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in maintaining peace and stability in the region.
