Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam on August 20 received a delegation from the Philippine National Security Council, led by National Security Adviser Eduardo S.L. Oban Jr., who is paying a working visit to Vietnam.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral ties between Vietnam and the Philippines in areas of mutual interest, particularly in national security.
