Top Legislator Urges Continued Institutional Reforms After Administrative Restructuring

Hanoi: The National Assembly (NA), particularly its advisory bodies, has been tasked with further enhancing the institutional framework to ensure that Party regulations and State laws are in harmony with the new organizational model. This follows the streamlining of the political apparatus and the restructuring of administrative units, as stated by NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized this point while presiding over a meeting on July 3. The meeting included NA agencies, the NA Office, and advisory bodies of the NA Party Committee, focusing on reviewing the implementation of tasks during the first half of 2025 and setting out key objectives for the latter half. The top legislator highlighted that the current initiatives to streamline the organizational apparatus and restructure administrative units represent only initial steps in this ongoing process.
