Mong Cai: Total trade revenue through the Mong Cai International Border Gate in the northern province of Quang Ninh topped 624 million USD as of the end of February, marking a year-on-year surge of 58.23%. Export value accounted for 424 million USD, while imports totaled more than 200 million USD.

According to Vietnam News Agency, more than 300,000 tonnes of goods were traded through its border gates and crossing points through late February, reflecting a 56.4% increase from the corresponding time in 2024. The significant rise in trade activity underscores the increasing economic engagement in the region and highlights the strategic importance of the Mong Cai International Border Gate for trade facilitation.
