Hanoi: The Steering Committee for the Search, Recovery and Identification of Martyrs' Remains of Tuyen Quang Province on July 20, 2026, carried out the collection of samples from martyrs' remains currently preserved at the temporary holding facility of the Search and Recovery Team for Martyrs' Remains under the Provincial Military Command. The samples will be used for DNA analysis and the digitalization of related information.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this activity is part of the '500-Day Campaign to Accelerate the Search, Recovery and Identification of Martyrs' Remains.' The initiative aims to expedite the identification of martyrs whose identities remain unknown or incomplete. The campaign represents a significant effort to honor and recognize those who sacrificed their lives, ensuring that their legacies are preserved accurately.
