Hanoi: After three months of implementation, the two-tier local government model has shown positive progress, reflecting the Party’s wise and drastic leadership, and the responsible, creative efforts by authorities at all levels, sectors and localities, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. Speaking at a Government meeting in Hanoi to review the implementation and address challenges related to the mode, the cabinet leader highlighted that the two-tier local government apparatus has been largely consolidated with smooth operations, uninterrupted service delivery, and improved public service.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the two-tier system in enhancing governance and service delivery across localities. The model has been designed to ensure that government functions are carried out effectively, with a focus on streamlining processes and improving efficiency.
