Da nang: The US Navy’s amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli and guided-missile cruiser USS Robert Smalls, carrying more than 2,000 officers and sailors under the command of Rear Admiral Thomas Shultz, Commander of US Expeditionary Strike Group 7, arrived at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on December 8 for a four-day friendly visit.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and foster cooperation between the United States and Vietnam. The arrival of these naval ships marks a significant occasion for both nations, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance bilateral relations and promote regional stability.
