Phnom Penh:Gen. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA), engaged in discussions with Maj. Gen. Leonid Kasinsky, Chief of the Main Ideological Directorate of Belarus' Defence Ministry, during his visit to Belarus on September 22.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the talks focused on strengthening the exchange of experience in military political education between the two countries.

On the same day, Gen. Nghia and a high-level delegation of political officers from the VPA paid their respects at the Victory Monument. They also visited the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War History and met with former Belarusian experts who had previously assisted Vietnam.
