Vietnam and Bulgaria Seek More Substantive, Sustainable Tourism Cooperation

Sofia: Vietnam and Bulgaria have agreed to strengthen tourism cooperation through more practical and sustainable initiatives, with a focus on business connectivity, human resources development, and the establishment of a new bilateral cooperation framework. The consensus was reached during a meeting between Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet and Bulgarian Minister of Tourism Ilin Dimitrov in Sofia on July 8.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the two officials highlighted the need for enhanced collaboration in the tourism sector. The focus areas include creating opportunities for businesses from both countries to connect and cooperate more effectively. The development of human resources in tourism was also emphasized, aiming to improve the skills and capabilities of individuals working within the industry.

The meeting also underscored the importance of establishing a new framework for bilateral cooperation. This framework is expected to foster a more structured and systematic approach to collaboration, ensuring the initiatives undertaken are both practical and sustainable.
