Hanoi:Vietnam and Cambodia are focusing on enhancing youth and student exchanges to build mutual understanding and trust. This initiative aims to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two nations, as highlighted by Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized the importance of these exchanges during a meeting in Hanoi on September 25 with a delegation from the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia. The delegation was led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service Hun Many.
The proposal is seen as a step towards consolidating the historical ties between Vietnam and Cambodia, fostering closer cooperation and collaboration among the youth of both countries.
