Tel aviv: Vietnam and Israel have substantial potential to expand cooperation in high-tech agriculture, particularly as the Southeast Asia nation is accelerating the restructuring of its agricultural sector towards higher added value, sustainable development, and greater application of science and technology in production, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Nguyen Ky Son has said. The ambassador made the remarks at the Vietnam-Israel high-tech agriculture networking seminar 2026, held in Tel Aviv on July 9 in both in-person and online formats, with the participation of representatives from Israel's Ministry of Economy and Industry, universities, research institutes, businesses, and organizations operating in the high-tech agriculture sector of the two countries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the seminar highlighted the mutual interests of Vietnam and Israel in harnessing technological advancements to enhance agricultural productivity. The event served as a platform for stakeholders from both nations to explore collaborative opportunities and share insights on innovative agricultural practices.

The seminar underscored the importance of integrating modern technology into agricultural processes to meet the growing demands for sustainable and efficient food production.
