Hanoi: Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Nguyen Ky Son has embarked on a working visit to Be'er Sheva in southern Israel to investigate potential avenues for bolstering cooperation in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and innovation. The visit aims to enhance information sharing, human resources training, and research and technology development between the two nations.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Ambassador Nguyen Ky Son engaged in productive working sessions with key leaders from the Israeli Cyber Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD). Discussions also included representatives from the Be'er Sheva Innovation District and the cyber security research centre at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU). The meetings focused on leveraging collective expertise to foster collaboration in cybersecurity and AI initiatives.
The visit underscores the commitment of both Vietnam and Israel to deepen ties in technological advancements and research, paving the way for mutual growth and innovation in these critical sectors.
