Vietnam, Bulgaria Expand Cooperation Between Key Localities

Shumen: Vietnam and Bulgaria are seeking to broaden cooperation across major localities, with Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet paying a working visit to the cities of Shumen and Varna last week to promote local-level partnerships, business connectivity, education, and people-to-people exchanges. During her visit, Nguyet attended celebrations marking Shumen Day, held meetings with local leaders, and visited several major local businesses.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the ambassador's visit aimed to strengthen the ties between the two countries by exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors. The focus was on enhancing educational exchanges, fostering business relations, and promoting cultural understanding between the communities of Shumen, Varna, and corresponding regions in Vietnam.

The meetings with local leaders highlighted the potential for joint projects that could benefit both Vietnamese and Bulgarian societies. The discussions also touched on the importance of direct communication and exchanges at the local level to ensure sustainable and mutually beneficial cooperation.

The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to deepen their relationship through strategic partnerships in key areas, thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of their respective localities.
