Vietnam, Finland Seal MoU on Labour Migration Cooperation

Hanoi: Vietnam’s Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung, and Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs and Employment, Arto Olavi Satonen, have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on labour migration cooperation. The signing took place during discussions held in Hanoi on January 13.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the agreement represents a significant step in enhancing the collaboration between Vietnam and Finland in the area of labour migration. This MoU is expected to facilitate better management and support for workers migrating between the two countries, aiming to promote mutual benefits and address labour market needs effectively. The cooperation is anticipated to cover various aspects, including policy exchange and workforce development initiatives.
