Bangkok: Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son held a meeting with Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs Maris Sangiampongsa in Bangkok on July 29. The two sides expressed satisfaction with the positive development of Vietnam – Thailand relations, particularly the recent upgrade to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
According to Vietnam News Agency, both parties discussed the creation of a detailed action plan to implement the newly established partnership. This plan aims to strengthen cooperation in various sectors, including trade, investment, and cultural exchange. The meeting highlighted the commitment of both countries to further enhance their bilateral ties and work collaboratively on regional and international issues.
