Lille: At the invitation of the French Communist Party (PCF), a delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Nguyen Kim Son, a member of the CPV Central Committee and Vice Chairman of its Commission for Strategies and Policies, attended the 40th PCF Congress in Lille city from July 3 to 5. On the sidelines of the congress, Son engaged in discussions with various French political leaders.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Nguyen Kim Son held talks with Fabien Roussel, the PCF National Secretary, to discuss mutual interests and strengthen the relationship between the two parties. Additionally, Son had a working session with the president of the Gabriel P©ri Foundation, which provided an opportunity to explore collaborative projects and shared objectives.
Further, the Vietnamese delegation met with leaders from the Socialist Party (PS) and the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) of France. These meetings aimed to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange ideas on economic, social, and environmental issues that are pertinent to both nations.
