Beirut:General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam, along with a high-level Vietnamese delegation, departed New York on September 23. This marked the successful conclusion of their participation in the High-Level General Debate of the 81st UN General Assembly and related bilateral activities in the United States.

According to Vietnam News Agency, following their engagements in the US, President To Lam and the delegation are now proceeding to Canada for a state visit.
