Tokyo: Traditional products and handicrafts from various Vietnamese localities were introduced to international visitors and local residents at a charity bazaar in Tokyo on April 22. The event aimed to promote Vietnam's cultural identity while supporting humanitarian causes. Organized by the Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society (ALFS), the annual gathering featured around 30 booths representing embassies from Asia-Pacific countries in Japan, as well as Japanese localities and businesses.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Princess Takamado, the spouses of the Japanese Foreign Minister and the Governor of Mie Prefecture. Ambassadors and representatives from Asia-Pacific countries based in Tokyo also attended the event. This gathering not only highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Vietnam through its traditional products but also fostered international camaraderie and cooperation for charitable efforts.
