Vietnam’s 81st National Day Celebrated in Sydney, Showcasing Doi Moi Achievements

Sydney: Vietnam's 81st National Day, marking the period from September 2, 1945, to 2026, was commemorated in Sydney on August 26. The event highlighted the nation's transformation over four decades of Doi moi (Renewal) and the expanding Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Australia. It also emphasized the importance of people-to-people connections in shaping future cooperation between the two nations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the celebration was organized by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney. It brought together representatives from local authorities, heads of consular missions, and members of the diplomatic corps in Sydney. Additionally, the event was attended by the Vietnamese community in Australia and international friends, reflecting the broad support and interest in Vietnam's ongoing development and international relations.
