Phnom Penh:Vietnam's wushu and swimming teams achieved notable results at ASIAD 2026. Duong Thuy Vi secured a bronze medal in the combined jianshu-qiangshu event, earning a score of 19.413 points. The gold and silver medals in the event went to competitors from China and Japan, respectively.

According to Vietnam News Agency, swimmer Vo Thi My Tien has advanced to the final in the women's 400m individual medley, marking another success for the Vietnamese squad at the games.
