NA Chairman Pays Tribute to Fallen Heroes in Quang Tri Province

Quang Tri: National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man offered incense and flowers at the Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery and the Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery in the central province of Quang Tri on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Reunification of Vietnam (April 30, 1975 – 2025).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the commemorative activities were part of a series of events to honor the sacrifices and contributions of the martyrs who laid down their lives for national independence and reunification. Chairman Tran Thanh Man’s visit underscored the gratitude of the nation towards its heroes and emphasized the importance of remembering the past to foster a sense of unity and patriotism in future generations.

The Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery is the final resting place for tens of thousands of soldiers who perished on the Ho Chi Minh Trail during the Vietnam War. Meanwhile, the Road 9 National Martyrs Cemetery is dedicated to soldiers who fought in the fierce battles along Route 9, a strategic route during the conflict. These cemeteries serve as solemn reminders of the country’s tumultuous history and the enduring spirit of its people.
