Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam and his spouse Ngo Phuong Ly departed from Hanoi on August 10 morning for a four-day state visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK), which was made at an invitation of RoK President Lee Jae Myung.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore potential areas of cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK. Such high-level visits are seen as pivotal for fostering bilateral relations and enhancing mutual understanding between the two nations.
This visit is expected to include discussions on economic collaboration, cultural exchanges, and strategic partnerships. The itinerary may also feature meetings with key RoK officials and business leaders, aimed at promoting investment opportunities.
