FM Meets with Foreign Counterparts in US

Washington d.c.: Le Hoai Trung, Politburo member and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held separate meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Prince Abdullah bin Zayed Al-Nahyan; Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt Badr Abdelatty, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Trkiye Hakan Fidan in Washington D.C. on February 19 and 20 (local time). Trung was accompanying Party General Secretary To Lam to the US to attend the inaugural meeting of the Gaza Board of Peace.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between Trung and his counterparts focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing mutual interests. The meetings provided an opportunity for the leaders to exchange views on international and regional issues, as well as explore avenues for increased cooperation.

Trung's meetings with the UAE, Egypt, and Trkiye officials underscored the importance of diplomatic engagement in fostering peaceful and productive international relations. Each discussion aimed at enhancing strategic partnerships and promoting stability in the respective regions.

The participation of Vietnamese officials in the Gaza Board of Peace meeting highlights their commitment to contributing to global peace initiatives. These diplomatic efforts demonstrate Vietnam's active role in international affairs and its dedication to fostering cooperative relationships with other nations.
