Vietnam’s Auto Sales Increase by 6.5% Over 11 Months

Hanoi: The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (VAMA) has reported that total auto sales of its members in the first 11 months of 2025 reached 328,669 vehicles, marking an increase of 6.5% compared to the same period the previous year. In November, VAMA members recorded sales of 39,338 vehicles, showing a 4% increase from the previous month. However, there was an 11% decline when compared to November of the previous year.

According to Vietnam News Agency, sales of locally assembled vehicles experienced a 7% rise, totaling 18,370 units. Meanwhile, imported completely built-up (CBU) vehicle sales edged up by 1%, reaching 20,968 units. This data highlights the performance dynamics between locally assembled and imported vehicles in Vietnam’s auto market.
